Welcome to LE Portraits ~ the blog! I started this blog to have a place for people to have a “sneak peek” at their proofs while they are waiting for the whole session to be edited. It is also a place that I can put business information or promotions or just chat with you all. I hope you will check back often to see what is new at LE Portraits. And don’t be afraid to leave a comment - I love hearing what you think about the pictures!
Visit www.leportraits.com for more information and email me through my contact page if you have any questions or suggestions or would like to book a session. LE Portraits is also on facebook so please look me up and become a fan to keep up with all our latest news.

I love when several generations of family get together and invite me to come take pictures. There are 4 generations in this picture – wow. What a great memory for these young girls to have their parents, grandparents, and great-grandmother all together in a portrait. We met for about 45 minutes, just before sunset, and got such beautiful warm lighting. Thanks guys for letting me be a part of your weekend.

I met this adorable family last Friday and got to photograph their sweet 1 month old baby. He wasn’t that into me…but that’s ok. I am sure he will grow to love me in time
I love chatting with his parents and getting to know them as we photographed their first born and laughing together as he peed and pooped on everything and everyone. That is the nature of the game when photographing newborns and totally expected. I don’t bring anything to a session that isn’t washable…and it all gets washed when I get home
The holiday weekend threw me off and I am just now getting their blog posted. Here are a couple of pictures of this precious little one.

I met the H family 6 months ago when we did little man’s newborn pictures. They are such a fun, sweet family and I really enjoyed our time together again this week. They had a picture of each of their older boys in a pot at 6 months and wanted to try to match it up for little H. I called my friends at Soiree and borrowed a chefs hat and set off for the session…hoping to get the shot they wanted. Mrs. H pulled out some veggies and a pot and baby boy played right along. He is so cute! Here is that shot and a few others for a quick sneak peek. I hope you guys have a great week and I will talk to you soon

This is the sweetest family. They are friends of ours from church and I have enjoyed getting to know them over shared nursery duty the past few years. They are always willing to help, where ever needed, without complaint. Troy and I teach their middle daughter in Sunday School each week and I loved walking up to the front door for our session and hearing her yell, “Miss Leslie’s here!”

I just love this little cutie. I met her family several years back and always love getting to catch up with them and see how much Miss T has grown. She has changed so much in the last year and I had a blast tonight visiting with her and letting her show me around their home. I always want to move to the country when I do sessions like these (which are coming too frequently lately…look out, honey, I might list our house soon!). It is so beautiful and peaceful and I am thankful they asked me back out tonight. Here is a quick sneak peek of Miss T’s 3 year pics. She is just a doll!

This party on Saturday was so much fun. The people were all so friendly and beautiful. The location…well…I seriously considered staking my tent and never leaving…loved it! And the weather cooperated perfectly for us (always a risk when doing anything outdoors in Oklahoma!). We had lots of families and a few animals show up for our party and I can’t wait to get through all these gorgeous pictures. Here is a sneak peek of the fun….

I had such a busy, but good, weekend and am just now making time to sit down and post blog posts from Friday and Saturday. I had a great time Friday evening at Gilcrease with this fun family. They are friends from church and are so sweet. I loved their purples and blues they chose for their outfits – they looked great! Thanks for letting me photograph you guys. Your gallery is almost ready but here is your sneak peek

We had a beautiful night (could have done without all the wind but it IS Oklahoma, after all, where the wind comes sweeping down the plains!) with this beautiful family. They happen to be my cousin and her family! Her boys are adorable and so smart…I loved listening to their commentary on everything we passed
Here is a quick sneak peek for you guys – thanks for letting me photograph you all. I’ll talk to you soon!

And I forgot to bring paper for their family note – ugh. So we improvised and “M” helped us out

I have had quite a stream of ‘10 seniors this month. It has been so much fun. I really enjoyed meeting this senior and his family tonight. They were a lot of fun and we chatted like old friends (hope I didn’t chat your ear off!). We we worried when it was raining, and even hailing this morning, but thankfully the skies cleared and it was gorgeous tonight for our downtown shoot. Thank you so much for choosing me as your photographer and good luck with all the end of the year business coming up. Here is your sneak peek…I’ll talk to you soon
