I have had quite a stream of ‘10 seniors this month. It has been so much fun. I really enjoyed meeting this senior and his family tonight. They were a lot of fun and we chatted like old friends (hope I didn’t chat your ear off!). We we worried when it was raining, and even hailing this morning, but thankfully the skies cleared and it was gorgeous tonight for our downtown shoot. Thank you so much for choosing me as your photographer and good luck with all the end of the year business coming up. Here is your sneak peek…I’ll talk to you soon

Tonight was a lot of fun exploring downtown Tulsa with this Owasso senior, his mom, and his girlfriend. We saw a lot of very interesting people, a commercial being filmed, and way too many wood bees for my comfort zone
But we had a great time and had perfect weather for the evening. Here is a quick sneak peek tonight – enjoy!

This is such a great young man. I call his mom my homeschool Yoda as she has homeschooled more years than anyone I know and is such a wealth of knowledge. She is about to graduate her 5th child from homeschooling…meet “E”
He said I could take 5 pics of him…I just barely went over that ;o) Thanks for being a good sport during our pics and I hope you enjoy your sneak peek.

I was sick last night and totally spaced on the “note” picture. Oops! If you have a note, I would love to run by and snap that picture for you. I’m sorry. I needed some sleep…and drugs ;o)

We had a quick follow up to our portrait party from last weekend for those that couldn’t make it then. There were 3 families that came out on this rainy day for some pictures. We were thankful to have a nice patio and big umbrellas
Here are a few peeks at the families that attended and the one of the senior who I did senior pics for today too. Thanks for coming out guys! I’ll be talking to you soon

I love shooting Seniors and tonight’s was no exception. “J” was a great model and I really enjoyed getting to visit all new places for our session and am thankful to the people who opened up their yards to us (even people we didn’t know!). There was a tad bit more “wild life” than I am used to and I am pretty sure “J” brought home a pet carpenter bee in his bag, but it was still a great night. He earned his black belt recently and I am glad he brought it to show off – he worked HARD for that! Enjoy your sneak peek and I will talk to you guys soon.

Thanks for playing along and leaving YOUR message behind

We had perfect weather today for our portrait party in Collinsville. I decided to do this party to help a local Girl Scout Troop raise money for an upcoming educational trip to Mexico. I am donating the entire session fee ($20/family) and 15% of all the sales to the troop. We are having one more party next weekend at the same place. If you would like to join in the fun, leave me a comment with your email addy and I will send you all the details. There are still a few spots open after 5:30
Here are a couple of quick sneak peeks for the party guests. We had two seniors come out and do two mini sessions back to back so they could change clothes and get enough shots in. What a great way for those last minute seniors to get pictures back before May!!
Thanks for coming out and supporting the Girl Scouts. It was a fun day.

I love hanging out with this family…we are never lacking in laughter! We had a good time tonight doing C’s senior pictures in his neighborhood (which is beautiful, by the way) and then ventured out for some more urban shots. He was a good sport and did anything I would ask…even if I was joking, just to see if he would really do anything I asked
Thanks for letting me be your photographer and friend. Enjoy your sneak peek.

Then….I had an idea. I have a personal blog called Notes From 2010 where I take pictures of myself, my family, and whatever else I want to take pictures and try to (almost always – this week I didn’t – oops) have a note in the picture. It has been a lot of fun and I wanted to carry that idea over to LE Portraits. So, starting today with C (thanks for being my guinea pig!), all my clients will have the opportunity to leave their message behind. I will post it at the end of your sneak peeks and in a separate folder on facebook. For doing this, I will give you a free 5×7 of the shot with your order. I think it will be really cool and interesting to see people’s thoughts about where they are in their lives when we have our session. It can be one word or 100 words…funny or serious…it is up to you. What will your note say? Here is C to kick us off….

I had such a good time with this Owasso Senior and his parents. He brought along his awesome car to share the spotlight with – love it! He was such a good sport and I hope he enjoys his sneak peek.

Wow – “M” was such a trooper this morning! It was not exactly sunny and warm for our session but you wouldn’t know it from her sweet smile in the pictures and sweet disposition during the session. I love when Seniors bring things that are important to them to include in their pictures. It is nice to make them more personable. Besides her saxophone, she also said she liked nature and outdoorsy things so we headed out to Gilcrease, where I knew it would be pretty, even if it was 45* out. Enjoy your sneak peek, “M”, and have a great Spring Break!
