LE Portraits ~ the blog: Owasso Oklahoma photography

I promise that I am still alive and kicking and wrapping up an incredibly busy few months here at LE Portraits. I have been a major slacker on blogging but do post sneak peeks and information on facebook regularly so check out the LE Portraits page there (and tell your friends too ). I have been working hard on my new website and finally have it ready to upload. I am holding off a couple of more weeks to make sure all the bugs are worked out and then will go live on January 3rd. At that time, all the existing galleries will be erased and we will begin 2011 with a clean slate. What does this mean for you? If you have a order that you have been waiting to place….stop waiting!!! Once the new site is live, there will be a $25 fee for me to re-host your old gallery for you. I completely understand that this isn’t the best time of year for “extras” so I want to help you out. Go ahead and place your order before the end of the year and I will hold on to it for you until you are ready to pay for it. After you have sent your payment, I will place the order and you will get your prints. If you need a few months to save back up, that is no problem. I would appreciate if you would give me a rough idea of when to expect payment, but I will file the order until you are ready. Sound good? Oh…one more thing….when I upload my new site, there will be some changes in pricing too. Nothing huge, but worth mentioning. Anything you order before the end of the year (off the current site) will still receive the current pricing. Just one more incentive to get your orders in asap )

On a more personal note….I am just so grateful for each and every one of you. I have been so blessed to be able to do what I love and still help provide for our family. I have had the privilege of photographing this young lady many times over the past 4 years and am still in shock that she is a Senior. It doesn’t seem possible. But she is, and we had a great time tonight shooting her Senior pictures.  She is so beautiful and sweet and just has a good head on her shoulders. This little baby is so stinkin’ adorable. I met this sweet family 6 months ago when little “B” was born and she has grown so much (obviously – haha). She had just learned to sit up alone a few days before this so I was thrilled that we caught a few sitting poses for mom and dad. Here is a sneak peek of their session.

I love these little girlies. It has taken time, but I think I have won Miss A over and she just might actually like me now. My husband and I taught her in Sunday School for the past year and she is a hoot. We have loved watching her grow up and she is now 3 and just as cute as ever. Little Miss D is just about to be in our class and I can’t wait to get to know her too. We had a beautiful day for a photo shoot and the girls were so cute. Here are a few shots from their session.

I have been so busy that I have totally neglected my blog. I’m sorry I have been putting some sneak peeks on facebook but not even done that as well as I should. I have been getting the galleries out quicker than expected though, so hopefully you will forgive me I am going to try to get a few blog posts up today showing a glimpse into what I have been up too. I have had portrait parties, homeschool pictures, and individual pictures. It has been fun and the “rush” is just starting.  I have been making custom Christmas cards, including my own (woohoo), and am still plugging away at my new site. I thought it would be up and running by now but I just haven’t had time to get it finished and don’t want to launch it until it is perfect (it’s getting there!). Thanks for being patient with me as I am a one-woman show. Hope you have a wonderful fall!

This family is so sweet and is the only family I have ever got to shoot in the snow! They have since added precious baby K to the mix and were ready for a new family picture with their whole family. Enjoy our sneak peek….and the awesome weather!

When Miss A smiled throughout her newborn shoot, we should have known she was going to be one happy baby! I don’t know why I was surprised today, when we had her 6 month shoot, that she was such a happy, smiling baby. She is a total doll and did more than tolerate the session and many outfit changes, she rocked it! Thanks so much for having me out today guys. I always leave smiling and thinking that a job shouldn’t be this much fun!

And what baby doesn’t love her toes? I was amazed with the flexibility here though. Her mom nailed it when she said she folds up like a pretzel

I love all the variety in my job. It really is the best job ever. This week I had a cool opportunity to photograph a NASCAR team.

Mario Gosselin is one of their drivers and was in town for the shoot.

I can’t believe I forgot to post this sneak peek from last weekend. This week has flown by and just got away from me. Sorry, guys. Your gallery will be up later tonight but here is a sneak peek anyway, because your kiddos are so stinkin’ cute. I have been photographing both these little tykes since birth and love our sessions. Big Brother actually seems to like me…which is a nice considering I only see them a few times a year. He is so much fun. Little Miss wasn’t quite as into the session but we managed to get some adorable shots anyway.

And I thought this shot was so sweet. Miss T had had enough of pictures and Big Brother stepped in to comfort her. Awww…

The sweet little triplets that I have had the privilege of photographing during this last year are on the move. They are just as adorable as ever and I am always amazed with how well behaved they are and how calm their beautiful mother is during our visits. I wish we lived closer because I know we would be great friends. Today, she let me bring Paige, my 5 year old, to help baby wrangle. She had so much fun too and between her, their mom, and their grandma, we managed to have a successful photo shoot at the “park” with three one year old little girls. I love how they each have their own look and their own personality. It is fun to watch them grow from babies into little girls. Here are a few pictures from our fun morning. Enjoy the cuteness!
